I'm constantly astonished at what comes out of the Queensland University of Technology.
They've now come up with a solar-powered robot that cruises around the farm, identifies any weed it finds and either applies the right chemical or, if it recognises the weed as potentially chemical-resistant, digs it up!
And when it's run out of chemical it even returns to base and re-fills itself!!
And these are going to be available to farmers for only twenty grand a pop.
Fantastic. Well done (again) QUT.
Now, can you come up with a driverless tree watering truck for me?
