A further word about tree spacings

In this post about tree spacings I was talking about maximum spacings - ie the maximum you can go before the avenue effect starts to break down. It doesn't mean you can't go closer. You can go much closer.

There's a saying: "If in doubt, leave it out".

But the exact opposite applies here: "If in doubt, put it in!"
