Parks and Gardens 101

Us Parks folks can get a bit tetchy when the public doesn't give us much respect but this sort of thing doesn't help the cause. This is Rosewood Ave, Woodlands, a busy road with nice wide verges and no power lines - ie ideal for some big, bold tree planting but, as you can see, there hasn't been much of that happening for years.

Then, when the street does get some attention, it's a handful of what looks like Pyrus (ie not very big) at 25m(!) spacings planted the winter just gone and they're going off already.

It doesn't matter how much we're accomplishing in the office, if we're not getting it right out here, we're losing the game.
